North Stanly at South Stanly

The Comets have already locked up first in the Yadkin Valley Conference, but the cross-county rival Rebel Bulls would love to put another blemish on North Stanly’s 9-1 record and end its six-game winning streak. South Stanly (5-5, 4-2) won 28-13 over Albemarle last week, while the Comets beat North Moore 42-2 to move to 6-0 in the conference.
Mount Pleasant at West Stanly

The Colts (3-7, 1-3) lost for the second straight week last Friday, falling 47-0 at Anson. West Stanly faces its stiffest test yet this week. The 8-2 Tigers are unbeaten in the Rocky River Conference at 4-0, beating East Montgomery 15-9 last week to win their fourth straight. Mount Pleasant has outscored four conference opponents 167-22.
West Montgomery at Albemarle

The Bulldogs lost 28-13 to South Stanly last week to fall to 4-6 overall and back to .500 in the Yadkin Valley Conference at 3-3. The Warriors, meanwhile, won their fifth straight with a 20-13 victory over North Rowan. West Montgomery (8-2, 5-1) has three shutouts and allowed just 20 total points during its win streak.
