ALBEMARLE — A voter challenge has been filed in Stanly County against Alexander Bradley Gresham who alleged to have voted twice in the May primary. According to the challenge, Gresham “registered in and voted a one-stop absentee ballot on April 25, 2018 in Pitt County.” The challenge was made by the Pitt County Board of Elections after they discovered that Gresham had apparently registered in-person and voted in Stanly County a week later. A hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday.
