ALBEMARLE — Multiple news sources are reporting that an early head start school bus was struck with 15 preschoolers and two adults on board. The bus overturned and all 17 experienced injuries.
One passenger was seriously injured and needed to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The driver of a Dodge Ram pickup truck was cited by highway patrol for being at fault after the driver drove through a stop sign, striking the bus.
